My name is Kafi (the storyteller behind the camera). I’m a wife and mother of two. I was born and raised in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. I’ve been a creative since before I could hold a pencil, drawing, painting and writing poetry every chance I got. So naturally, photography became another means of expressing my creativity. With over 8 years of professional photography experience, love stole my heart, and photographing weddings has become my cherished passion. Few things are as gratifying as capturing the significance of one of life's most pivotal moments in a person's journey. I feel absolutely blessed whenever someone chooses me to capture their story. My style is more photojournalistic. I’m all for the more candid, real moments but, of course, I will still capture the typical smile and look at the camera poses. Each time you revisit your album, you will relive the joy and laughter of those precious moments.
